To give you a little background on who I am is to just let you know I am an everyday person that has always carried big dreams for playing a role in helping others. That first dream began to evolve six years ago when I took a risk in life to start a non-profit organization called Kate's Club. I had just turned 24, was broke, and knew little about starting an organization for kids grieving the loss of a parent. I did however carry a drive and a passion to help. A passion that was born out of the personal loss of my mother when I was 12 years old. Kate's Club today is a successful non-profit in Atlanta, Georgia that serves hundreds of kids who are grieving the death of a parent or a sibling. I am so proud of how far we have come in developing positive, dynamic programs that are giving these kids hope and happiness in the face of such a tragic event in a young life.
On behalf of my work for Kate's Club, I have had a great opportunity to be the voice of grieving children locally and nationally.

This experience taught me a wonderful lesson that I now want to share with all of you...
More than a lesson, it is a gift...and that gift is to experience how the opportunity to change someone else's life also very much changes your own. I want to share with you the fulfillment and happiness everyone can experience when you take part in something that is bigger than yourself. That feeling when you share. Share your money, share your mind, share your time, share your story...all of this sharing can help you, can help someone else, and can ultimately help our world!
You can truly find happiness Living by Giving; the key is finding how it best fits into your life. And that is my purpose in building this site. To help you discover ways to help others by building a recipe for everyday giving that works for you.
