Babette's Corner: Seven Kids Giving Back to their Community
Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 09:40PM The seven kids found in this Huffington Post article are the kind of kids society needs so that the older generation can see our world is in good hands.
My favorite story of the bunch is the one about Zach Bonner, a young gentleman who created the Little Red Wagon Foundation for homeless kids. Since I also work with the homeless at the Church of the Common Ground, I can relate to why he enjoys working with kids that need so much help. Helping the homeless population is a very humbling experience and it definitely gives you a good feeling to be able to help someone who is experiencing tough times.
Every day I search for young heroes that are out to help the world and these are just the few of the many more to come!
