Babette's Corner: Travel the World and Volunteer

I've been really wanting to travel lately and volunteer my time, but right now I just can't seem to find the money to do so. I was searching on Travelocity just for fun when I saw their "Travel for Good" page. I was so intrigued by what they have to offer I wanted to share with you my findings. 

The Travel for Good, also known as Voluntourism, offers a variety of packages to choose from. Once you get on the site it will show a list of places you can travel to where you can sightsee as well as volunteer your time for a great cause. Also, there are quarterly grants of 5,000 dollars that you can apply for to fund your trip/volunteer experience.
