Full First Week of Signings
Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 02:20PM It has been a full week. One I am and will forever be so grateful for experiencing. From Barnes and Noble to Peters Path Store to Tanner Hill Galleries, I've been able to introduce my book to friends, families, and supporters of all ages. I was especially inspired by my young supporters - teens who showed an interest in my story and my book. I felt a twinge of irony because they have provided me with so much inspiration that led me to write the book.
I'm taking today to relax and reflect. Next week I head up to my hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia to continue to bring the book to families who need it. If you haven't checked it out yet, I encourage you to do so. It is a great gift for families in need of an extra hug this holiday season.
Here I am reading at Barnes and Noble on Tuesday night. Rain and all we had a great turnout.

And then it was off to visit with the amazing women gathering together at Peters Path Store in Lawrenceville:

And last, but certainly not least...on Thursday, it was off to Tanner Hill Galleries where some of my closest friends and supporters gathered for a celebration:

Thanks to everyone who has supported the book in this first week, As you can see from the photos, the book is both inspiration for and a celebration of those whose lives have been colored by grief.
