Invisible Children Founders on Larry King Live
Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 10:02PM Back in May I wrote about three young film makers making headlines with their ambitious movement called The Rescue. (May 9, 2009) Their organization, Invisible Children is making headlines again tonight on Larry King Live. Laren Poole, Jason Russell, and Bobby Bailey joined with musician Pete Wentz.
30,000 children have been abducted in Uganda since the rebellion of Jospeh Kony's Lord's Resistance Army began in 1987.
Brothers killing brothers. Kids forced to kill kids. Hopelessness at the core of them all.
Pete Wentz, bassist for pop punk band Fall Out Boy, has joined the campaign.
