6th Annual Kate's Club Cabaret this Friday!
Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 09:25PM It had been eight years after my mom had died when I finally shared my story of losing her with others. I was volunteering at a camp for grieving children, 20 years old, and pouring out my soul to a group of 200 strangers. Talk about a powerful moment. But it was the moment that changed my life....
After moving to Atlanta and recognizing that there was a great need in the community to help children grieve over a loved one, I started Kate's Club to make sure that other kids didn't have to wait so long to find support.
Our Annual fundraiser is this Friday, August 21st at the W Atlanta Downtown. The party starts at 8pm and it is guaranteed to be a good time, fabulous people, and great fun.

This event also means that its a bit of a media mania week for me. Check out the segment from Monday's Good Day Atlanta with Mark Hayes, also a co-emcee for the evening! See you on the dance floor.
