Fun Blog: Five Questions with Kate Atwood

I was asked to answer five fun and thoughtful questions for a local blogger here in Atlanta.  It was so fun, I wanted to share my answers with you too...Check it out.

    ***********

Kate Atwood is the founder of Kate's Club, an Atlanta-based non-profit that provides programming and support for children and teens facing life after the death of a sibling or parent. She is an inspiring woman- well documented here, here and here- with a remarkable organization. You should support Kate's Club (details below), and do what Kate says in her gruelling five question marathon...

    Q. If there were a silent auction item at the event for “A Night On The Town With Kate Atwood”, where would you take the winner?
    A. We’d start at the W Downtown’s Living Room – a true Urban Oasis. Then we’d take a Helicopter ride over the city – taking off conveniently from the helipad on W Downtown’s roof. We would land in Centennial Park and head over to The Tabernacle for some live music performed by the best acts in Atlanta.

    Q. Favorite neighborhood(s)?
    A. Virginia Highlands: Great History. Great Walking. Great People. Inman Park: I’m obsessed with the porches on the houses there.
