My journey has always been guided by a deep desire to help others navigate life’s challenges with resilience and connection. It began in 2003 with the founding of Kate’s Club, inspired by my own experience with grief after losing my mother as a child. I wanted to create a space where children could find support, hope, and community as they worked through their loss. What started with taking six kids bowling has grown into a nationally recognized organization, transforming tens of thousands of lives.

Over the years, my path has evolved. While grief and healing remain at the heart of my work, I’ve expanded my focus to embrace broader themes of change and transformation. Whether leading innovative community initiatives, building brands for collective impact, or empowering individuals to discover their purpose, I approach my work with compassion, creativity, and a drive to inspire meaningful growth.

The impact of my work is reflected in the lives I’ve had the privilege to support, the communities I’ve helped build, and the organizations I’ve led. Kate’s Club has become a lifeline for thousands of children and families, equipping them with the tools and connections they need to thrive in the face of loss. In 2023, the organization was awarded the U.S. Surgeon General’s Medallion, the highest national honor for contributions to health.

Beyond Kate’s Club, I’ve held leadership roles that allowed me to champion causes close to my heart. As the Executive Director of ChooseATL, I worked to position Atlanta as a hub for young talent and innovation. At the Arby’s Foundation, I led a brand rebuild and spearheaded programs to combat childhood hunger across the United States. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on driving change at both personal and collective levels.

My work has been recognized with honors such as inclusion in Good Magazine’s “Good 100: Leaders Moving the World Forward.” Yet, what matters most to me is continuing to create spaces for transformation, growth, and connection.
